Cooldown: for palatable and fresh feed, even at warm temperatures
Cooldown is a powerful blend of four buffered acids (acetic acid, formic acid, benzoic acid, and sorbic acid) that effectively inhibits the growth of molds, yeasts, and undesirable bacteria. Due to rising temperatures, roughage quickly heats up at the feed barrier. This reduces palatability, decreases feed intake, and can lead to production and health losses. Cooldown prevents this by keeping the feed fresh – ensuring cows continue to eat well even on warm days.

Why choose Cooldown?
Cows don't like warm feed. When feed heats up, molds and yeasts thrive. This reduces palatability and feed intake, precisely at times when cows need extra energy for thermoregulation. Cooldown offers a broad spectrum of action due to the combination of multiple acids. This is more effective than using only formic acid or propionic acid, which often only act on one type of microorganism.
With Cooldown, your feed remains:
-
Fresh and palatable
-
Protected against heating and molds
-
A constant source of energy for your cows, even in the heat
